María Gil Martínez

Transatlantic Relations Analyst, Security & Defence Unit (S&D) • María is in the final stage of a Double Bachelor’s Degree in Political Science, Public Administration and International Relations at Pablo de Olavide University (Seville, Spain). During a nine-month Erasmus exchange at Sciences Po Bordeaux, she developed a strong interest in European security and defence. Her areas of interest include transatlantic relations, intelligence analysis, NATO, and European defence cooperation. Alongside her studies, María is actively involved in youth volunteering as Vice-President and Vice-Coordinator of her local Scout group, reflecting her commitment to leadership, civic engagement, and public service.
