Kristian van der Bij

Correspondent for the Netherlands | As a European Studies student in Leeuwarden, Kristian deals with issues of democracy and populism. Though a resident in Harlingen, he is often in Groningen and Amsterdam. With the rapidly changing political reality in the Netherlands, there is plenty to write about the country. He holds a minor in journalism and is active for the National Youth Council in the Netherlands. In addition, anti-democratic movements within the EU and European-American ties are a special interest to him.​
