Trump and Zelensky Agree on a Peace Plan

Following talks in Geneva and Berlin with European allies, Trump and Zelensky have unveiled a 20-point peace plan—a revised version of the US’ controversial 28-point draft leaked last November.

The plan institutionalises stronger security guarantees, outlines demilitarised zones, and proposes Ukraine’s EU accession by a specific year.

Territorial disputes and the management of Zaporizhzhia’s nuclear plant remain unresolved, and Russia’s acceptance is still pending.
