International Security Correspondent | Based in The Hague, Netherlands, Jake is one of the newest additions to the Euro Prospects team, serving as their International Security Correspondent. An American national, he recently earned his MA in International Relations from Leiden University, specializing in the Global Order in Historical Context. An approach that utilized history to explain today's geopolitical landscape. Aspiring to become a geopolitical analyst and/or journalist focusing on European security and Nordic geopolitics, Jake enjoys reading and writing on a wide range of topics, including European defense policy, history, foreign affairs, and international political economy. His broad interests reflect a deep and evolving curiosity about geopolitics and international relations. In addition to his role at Euro Prospects, Jake contributes to the European Research Desk at Geopol Report and serves as the Scandinavian/Nordic contributor for the British Institute of Global Affairs, building a diverse and robust portfolio for future professional endeavors.
