International Affairs Correspondent | Emily Garnett is an Australian-born political analyst with a passion for contextualising complex global issues. She holds a Bachelor's degree in Politics & International Relations/Philosophy and is currently pursuing a Master's in Political Science at the University of Amsterdam, specialising in European Politics and External Relations. With experience as an intern at Atlas News, Emily has published work on some of the major political developments in Europe, such as the German coalition government collapse, the Georgian parliamentary election, etc. Now based in the Netherlands, Emily brings a unique perspective shaped by her international background and academic expertise. Her interests include EU Foreign Policy, democracy/democratic backsliding, geopolitical conflict, and elections.
